I was very fortunate to know Jody Hamilton and Tom Renesto. My husband was a referee for wrestling. My son was named after both of these men. I am sad to say he did not go into pro-wresting and follow his name sakes. These guys were great in the ring and out.Tom will be missed.

I hate to tell you this, but the picture, accompanying this article about Tim Woods, is actually Mr. Wrestling II (Johnny Walker).

II's mask was highlighted with black...Woods' mask was solid white.

Man, I'm glad to hear that you're doing well! I used to watch you wrestle, and do TV commercials, in Montgomery, Al in the late 70s. I always thought you were a class act! Blessings! Gabe

Swede Hanson was the greatest wrestler of all time.I first saw him on TV in 1979, towards the end of
his career. Later he returned to the WWF and I saw him wrestle live 3 times. I didnt even know much about his legendary career in the mid atlantic but I knew he had been wrestling since before I was born. Although he didnt win alot of matches during that final run, fans knew he was a great talent. The
federation reconized that the fans knew he was great and they made him special guest referee, for
big matches. He was marketted as a heel but fans started cheering him in the end. There should be a
Swede Hanson monument built in DC.He should be in every wrestling hall of fame.He brought so much happiness and exitement to the world that he will continue to be remembered. _Evan Rodgers posted this.

I met Larry a few months before his death.. He was my bondman. We talked about his early career, I was shocked to discovered him as one of my wrestling hero, Kay Noble, Danny Little Bear, etc..
Larry indeed have a sweet side of him..
I really miss him..

I was born and raised in Martinsville, Va and I remember watching Big Boy Brown in the early 1970's (he teamed with Klondike Bill and Jim Wilson on occasion)! I loved watching the big man wrestle--- he brought a lot of joy to my life! Rest in peace, big man. I love you still!
